PlanetKids exists to empower generations to win generations. We believe that no one is too young to have a personal relationship with God. It is our aim to create an atmosphere of fun and faith where kids can learn, grow and connect. Our goal is to partner with parents. raising these young champions together!
First Time?
From the moment you walk into our front doors you will be welcomed by a friendly member of our guest services team who will point you to our PlanetKids sign in desk. One of our PlanetKids team members will be available to answer any questions you may have and help you with the check in process.
Check In
It is our heart as a church to care for every individual. Upon your first visit, we ask that you would provide us with some basic information, including known allergies or additional needs.
After The Service
We would love to connect with you and your family after the service in our Connect Lounge. Here we provide tea and coffee in a relaxed environment where you can meet our pastors and Urban Life leaders.
Sunday Program
We provide programs for age groups from 9 months to 12 years of age. PlanetKids is available at every location during each main service.
Connect
Our desire is to see each child connect with Jesus. At the beginning of our service all age groups participate in praise and worship where our teams lead the children into a personal encounter with our great God.
Our programs also encourage children to connect with each other through play, learning and activities.
Engage
We believe in fun. We aim to create an engaging program, creating positive memories that they will remember for years to come.
Grow
The Word of God is a central focus throughout our children’s services. Each Sunday, children are taught the Word of God through dynamic teaching, preaching and small groups. Our heart is to partner with parents in raising these young champions together.
Create
Each service offers a time for age appropriate craft and small groups. We believe these are special moments where friendships are established and where things learned are reinforced.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a cost involved?
No, Planetkids is always a free service.
Do I need to provide a snack?
No snack is required for children in Grades 1 – 6. We do ask that parents of children aged 18 Months – Prep do provide a healthy snack (Nut free). There is a time within our program where all the children will sit and eat their snacks.
Can I stay with my child in the Planetkids Program?
Parents are always welcome if that is what they wish.
Do children get to go to the main service for Praise and Worship?
Yes, we take children from Grade 5 & 7 into the main service for Praise and Worship.
What is the screening process for your leaders?
We regard the safety of children as our highest priority. All leaders must complete an application form. Their references and background are then checked to ensure they are suitable to be working with children. Applicants are required to obtain a Police Clearance and a Criminal Record Check. Our leaders also receive ongoing training in relation to safety procedures concerning children.
